C# Developer – Banking,Risk vacancy for our Basel based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Develop and enhance the Risk IT microservices stack using C# and Python
• Break down and refactor legacy .NET Framework components to support migration to .NET Core and container-based deployment
• Support the transition to a Cloudera-based Data Lake platform
• Replace legacy interfaces to banking systems with a Kafka-based streaming architecture
• Take part in rotating daytime support to maintain system stability and performance
• Work closely with business users to gather, clarify, and refine requirements

Your experience/knowledge:

• Strong development experience in an object-oriented language such as C#, Java, or C++, with willingness to work across C# and Python codebases
• Background in financial services, ideally within a bank, financial institution, insurance environment, or a software delivery role for the sector
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server
• Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
• Experience working in agile teams with an iterative and continuous improvement mindset
• Language skills: English, English
