GitLab Platform Engineer (CI/CD) vacancy for our Zürich based client in the Telco sector. 

Your tasks:

• Operate, maintain and continuously improve a self-managed GitLab platform used for CI/CD, source control and collaboration.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines and reusable pipeline templates for development teams.
• Manage developer tooling such as container registries, artefact management, code quality and security scanning.
• Automate provisioning, upgrades and configuration of the GitLab infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD.
• Ensure high availability, performance and security across the platform.
• Support development teams in improving their CI/CD workflows and platform usage.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Proven experience administering and operating GitLab Self-Managed, including GitLab CI/CD, runner management and platform configuration.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts, pipeline design and automation.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and their integration into CI/CD workflows.
• Solid hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform and Helm.
• Good Linux and systems engineering skills.
• Language skills: English
