GitLab Platform Engineer (CI/CD) vacancy for our Zürich based client in the Telco sector.
Your tasks:
- Operate, maintain and continuously improve a self-managed GitLab platform used for CI/CD, source control and collaboration.
- Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines and reusable pipeline templates for development teams.
- Manage developer tooling such as container registries, artefact management, code quality and security scanning.
- Automate provisioning, upgrades and configuration of the GitLab infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD.
- Ensure high availability, performance and security across the platform.
- Support development teams in improving their CI/CD workflows and platform usage.
Your experience/knowledge:
- Proven experience administering and operating GitLab Self-Managed, including GitLab CI/CD, runner management and platform configuration.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts, pipeline design and automation.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and their integration into CI/CD workflows.
- Solid hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform and Helm.
- Good Linux and systems engineering skills.
- Language skills: English
