Azure Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer vacancy for our Bern-based client in the Consulting & Business Services sector.

Your tasks:

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure and hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Manage and optimize core Azure services including networking, compute, storage, identity, and security.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using industry-standard tools.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure and application deployments.
• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, performance, and availability.
• Support incident management, root-cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.
• Participate in architecture design and technical decision-making
• Mentor junior engineers and promote infrastructure and DevOps best practices

     
Your experience/knowledge:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field from a university or university of applied sciences, or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Azure networking, identity, storage, computing, and security services.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell and/or Bash.
• Proven experience managing hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Advanced Windows Server administration skills, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related technologies.
• Solid Linux administration experience.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with Git and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of networking, security, governance, and operational best practices.
• Swiss German and English skills at a fluent level; French is an asset

Nice to have:

• Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-700 or DevOps Engineer Expert.
• Experience in enterprise migration and modernization projects
