IT Test Manager vacancy for our Luxembourg based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Define and implement test strategy, planning, and approach for major projects and change requests.
• Oversee preparation, coordination, and management of test environments, test data, and test plans, ensuring resources and training needs are addressed.
• Manage and execute test cycles including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing, ensuring quality assurance across core banking systems and satellite applications.
• Track, report, and manage issues identified during testing, ensuring traceability between business requirements, test cases, and defects.
• Continuously improve testing processes, governance, and reporting, supporting deployment decisions and effective risk assessment.

Your experience/knowledge:

• 9+ years’ professional experience in IT test management and the financial services industry, with end-to-end responsibility for large-scale, complex platform migrations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and ISTQB certification (minimum foundation level).
• Proven expertise in test strategy development, test automation, and regression testing in cross-functional, agile environments.
• Proficiency with test and defect management tools, including JIRA, X-ray, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
• Language skills: English (fluent); German is an advantage.
