IT Support Specialist vacancy for our Luxembourg based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Act as the technical escalation point for 1st line support regarding incidents and service disruptions, with a key focus on AAA systems and other critical services.
• Conduct detailed technical investigations into interface timeouts, queue build-ups, or reconciliation mismatches using logs, database traces, and monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Diagnose root causes involving application logic or configuration and coordinate fixes as needed.
• Perform routine health checks and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and recovery guides for system stability and compliance.
• Ensure all activities are logged accurately in ServiceNow and assist in generating operational KPIs and reports.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent qualification.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in second line IT support, ideally within a private banking or wealth management environment.
• Technical advantage: Temenos Triple A (AAA) architecture, JBoss EAP / WildFly, database queries, IBM MQ or similar messaging systems, SWIFT MT/MX, SEPA, and Instant Payments.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ServiceNow is an asset.
• Language skills: fluent English
