C# DevOps Engineer – GitHub, IaC vacancy for our Basel based client in the Banking sector.
Your tasks:
- Drive the improvement of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, including GitHub pipelines, Ansible, and Windows playbooks
- Develop and implement automation and observability solutions for Openlink Findur, Financial Messaging System, and OpenShift platforms
- Collaborate with SRE/DevOps engineers, developers, and external infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Communicate directly with relevant infrastructure and security teams to gather requirements, and ensure best practices are followed
- Document existing and new technical solutions clearly and comprehensively
Your experience/knowledge:
- Relevant experience in a comparable DevOps/SRE position
- Proven experience in delivering large DevOps initiatives, with solid expertise in CI/CD platforms (preferably GitHub Actions), scripting (PowerShell or bash), and programming (ideally C#)
- Hands-on experience with observability technologies such as ELK stack or similar
- Strong knowledge of security best practices, including secrets management, encryption, and access rights management
- Language skills: English
