Businesss Analyst – SQL , Data Analysis, IFRS, Accounting – this is a long term contract opportunity for our  Switzerland based client in the Financial Services sector.

Your tasks:

• Drive the business analysis for Finance IT, supporting the implementation of the Finance Target Architecture in Azure Databricks.
• Work with business stakeholders to capture, clarify, and translate requirements into actionable work items in Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with software development and Finance IT teams to support delivery of finance data flows and reporting capabilities.
• Analyse, document, and maintain the current state of finance and business data, identifying gaps against system requirements.
• Define source system data derivation rules and propose practical, workable solutions.
• Prepare test data, coordinate testing and UAT, and support go-live and BAU transition activities.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Experienced Business Analyst on complex projects, ideally with agile delivery methods.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills, with the ability to work through complex data issues critically.
• Experience documenting clear, high-quality requirements and implementation work items in English.
• Knowledge of finance and accounting, with the ability to analyse data models and business processes.
• Experience supporting testing, UAT coordination, and solution validation in a collaborative environment.
• Language skills: English – mother tongue, English – fluent
