Business Analyst – Fixed Income, Trading, Structure Products – this is along term contract opportunityto join our Zurich based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Analyse and document complex business, functional, and interface requirements for trading-related changes across multiple systems.
• Define clear specifications for order handling, execution workflows, market model considerations, and the trading lifecycle.
• Assess the business, operational, and technical impact of new or changed functionality.
• Collaborate closely with business users, product managers, architects, developers, and testing teams to refine and deliver solutions.
• Support implementation planning, feature refinement, and delivery activities in an Agile environment.
• Translate fixed income and structured products requirements into implementation-ready deliverables.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Extensive experience in requirements engineering within exchange trading, market infrastructure, or broader financial services.
• Strong expertise in exchange-traded financial instruments, particularly fixed income and structured products; knowledge of equities and ETFs is an advantage.
• Sound understanding of trading platforms and matching engines, including order management, execution workflows, market models, and trading lifecycle processes.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality business requirements, functional specifications, interface specifications, and implementation-ready analysis deliverables.
• Solid understanding of market infrastructure topics such as trading, market data, reference data, and relevant regulatory considerations.
• Language skills: English
