Axway MFT Operations Engineer – Banking

We are looking for an experienced Axway MFT Operations Engineer for our client based in Zurich, operating in the banking sector.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational support and administration of the Axway Secure Transport platform.

• Monitor MFT services, file transfers, system performance, and platform availability.

• Identify, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to file transfer operations.

• Manage platform configurations and perform regular maintenance activities.

• Automate file transfer processes and operational tasks using Python and Shell scripting.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and integration teams to ensure reliable and secure external data exchange.

Your Experience and Skills

• Proven hands-on experience with Axway Secure Transport and Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions.

• Good understanding of secure external data exchange processes.

• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and operational support skills in enterprise environments.

• Practical experience in automation using Python and Shell scripting.

• Experience in configuring, monitoring, and maintaining technical platforms.

• Language skills: English.
