Python Developer – Django and Hive/Trino vacancy for our Switzerland based client in the banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Developing and rolling out an in-house application for control automation
• Implementing coding standards and best practices in software development
• Managing database interactions with SQL for Oracle and Hive/Trino
• Collaborating with teams in both on-prem and cloud environments

Your experience/knowledge:

• At least 3-5 years of software development experience
• Expertise in Python with frameworks such as Django or Flask
• Strong knowledge of SQL for Oracle and Hive/Trino databases
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
• Language skills: English

Your soft skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
