Test Automation Engineer – Banking, Trade Lifecycle vacancy for our Basel based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Review existing test cases for trade management systems to identify areas for automation
• Design, implement and maintain automated test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure test coverage for trade capture, settlement, risk management, and reporting
• Develop and maintain scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks aligned with industry best practices
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
• Monitor and analyse test results, report defects, and work closely with the team to resolve them

Your experience/knowledge:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in test automation, including designing and implementing automated test cases for complex systems in a banking environment
• Strong expertise with automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, TestNG, JUnit or similar)
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Java or C#)
• Experience with API testing (e.g. Postman or REST Assured) and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Language skills: English

• Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
