Description:
General Environmental and Employee Health & Safety work encompasses activities related to the environment (including the broader community impacted by environmental hazards) and employees.
Your tasks:

• Creating and implementing health, safety, occupational and environmental programs to prevent injuries and illnesses within the workplace and environmental accidents;
• Inspecting workplace and environmental incidents in accordance with company procedures and implementing corrective actions;
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements related to environmental and employee health and safety and identifying areas for improvement;
• Developing and managing an environmental and employee health & safety training plan;
• Maintaining relationships with the community, environmental groups, and other stakeholders impacted by the environmental performance of the organisation.
• Creating and revising maintenance work instructions based on manufacturer documentation
•  Participating in the systemic approval process using the site-specific HVPLM tool
• Providing relevant HSE documents and reconciling directoriesSupporting HSE data management (documentation, reconciliation, updating)
• General administrative support for HSE and technology (including Poka)
• You are part of the local Process and Maintenance group
•  You actively support the local HSE managers
•  You gain insight into the interfaces between technology, safety, and processes.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Technical background (completed basic training with the Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) 3-4 years)
• Basic knowledge of HSE
• Good knowledge of Office (advanced) and SAP
• Openness to new topics and enjoyment of structured work

Nice to Have

•  University degree (e.g., systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering) or higher education (e.g., ABB Technical School)
