DevOps Engineer  vacancy for a globally operating Rotkreuz based company in the pharmaceutical sector.

Your tasks:

• Develop and maintain DevOps pipelines, infrastructure and documentation by applying in-depth technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards for medical software
• Drive the timely delivery of stable, secure and scalable systems, meeting organisational standards and customer requirements while enabling faster development cycles and improved reliability
• Crafting clear user stories, designing and implementing automated tests, and driving continuous product enhancements
• Identifying and mitigating product and delivery risks, championing best practices, and agile methodologies
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous learning within and across diverse and intercultural teams
• Empower your team members to take ownership of their work and leading by example to foster teamwork and mentorship

Your experience/knowledge:

• 4-8+ years of professional software development experience, demonstrating expertise in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices,e.g. Git, containerization, virtualization, CI/CD pipeline)
• Capable of solving complex issues creatively and effectively, using a multi-faceted approach based on thorough analysis to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster an inclusive and diverse environment as well as collaborate effectively within and across teams.
• Linux experience (Debian or Ubuntu).
• Scripting in bash and python.
• Microsoft Azure DevOps/ GitHub.
•  SAFe5 or 6 (Nice to have).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, or a similar field, or comparable work experience as a Software Engineer
• Language skills: English – fluent in written and spoken, German is a plus.
