Securities Transfer Specialist vacancy for our Zurich based client in the Banking sector.
Your tasks:
- Process, instruct, and monitor global free-of-payment securities transfers involving equities, bonds, and standard investment funds.
- Investigate settlement-related information and exchange updates with counterparties by email.
- Issue settlement instructions to custodians and central securities depositories using SWIFT MT540/542 messages and other communication channels.
- Monitor outstanding transactions and proactively resolve pending cases, discrepancies, and settlement issues.
- Handle enquiries and claims from counterparties, custodians, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage the shared mailbox and telephone hotline, distributing incoming work as appropriate.
Your experience/knowledge:
- Detailed knowledge of securities settlement and post-trade operations, including mandatory expertise in SWIFT 54x message types (MT540, MT541, MT542, MT543).
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with SIS Portal, BBH Infuse, and related settlement tools is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of booking, reconciliation, and investigation of settlement discrepancies.
- Language skills: English,German fluent
