ETH Switzerland Internship – Computing, AI – 40% – 80% vacancy for our Glattpark-Opfikon (Zurich) based client in the Pharma sector.

Your tasks:

• Support the design and development of AI Academy and Data Academy learning pathways, workshop materials and reusable training assets.
• Contribute to the design of a Process Wiki / Knowledge Navigator, including navigation structures, page concepts and user journey ideas.
• Create wireframes, page mock-ups and lightweight prototype concepts for knowledge portal layouts and SharePoint Online pages.
• Help define taxonomy, metadata and knowledge graph concepts to improve search, discoverability and knowledge reuse.
• Research and evaluate AI tools, semantic search, retrieval-augmented generation and AI-assisted knowledge retrieval approaches.
• Document design decisions, assumptions and recommendations in a clear, structured and reusable format.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s programme at ETH Switzerland, or a comparable profile, in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Computational Science, Knowledge Engineering, Digital Design or a related field.
• Practical experience with generative AI, large language models, knowledge graphs, taxonomies, metadata modelling, semantic search or RAG approaches.
• Experience with web page creation and design using HTML, CSS, JavaScript or modern web frameworks; SharePoint Online or Microsoft 365 is an advantage.
• Skills in UX/UI design, wireframing, user journey development, data visualisation or Python are an advantage.
• Language skills: English/ German an advantage
