Manufacturing Automation Engineer – OT, Scada, E&IC – this is a long term contract for our Basel based client in the Pharma sector.

Your tasks:

• Operate and support automation systems linked to technical equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Build practical know-how of equipment and machines, ensuring procedures are followed accurately.
• Collaborate with internal teams across manufacturing, transport and storage to support smooth operations.
• Support production activities by helping to manufacture intermediates and active ingredients within defined frameworks.
• Assist with front-line logistics, order management, customer service and distribution activities where required.
• Work with OT, SCADA and E&IC systems, including DeltaV and Siemens environments where applicable.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Experience as an automation engineer, ideally with 2–3 years in a relevant operational environment.
• Practical exposure to automation in technical equipment, manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Knowledge of OT/SCADA and E&IC systems; DeltaV and Siemens experience is highly advantageous.
• Ability to follow procedures and contribute to structured operational processes.
• Language skills: English
