C# Developer – Microservices, Openshift – 2+ years contract  for our Basel based client in the Financial Services sector.

Your tasks:

• Design, develop and test .NET microservices that connect external SaaS platforms with internal applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with the existing architecture and design patterns.
• Analyse requirements, contribute to solution design, and support initial testing within an agile team.
• Document technical decisions, implementation approaches, and system behaviour clearly and consistently.
• Provide on-call support for deployed microservices and help resolve production issues when required.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scalability, security, and maintainability.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Extensive C#/.NET Core development experience
• Microservices and containers such as Kubernetes or OpenShift expertise
• Strong hands-on experience with message queues, ideally Kafka, as well as relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and enterprise log management platforms such as the ELK stack.
• Solid knowledge of design and integration patterns, particularly event-driven architecture.
• Language skills: English
