Incident Management & Application Monitoring Consultant – vacancy for our Luxembourg based client in the Banking sector.
Your tasks:
- Own the end-to-end incident lifecycle, including logging, categorisation, prioritisation, escalation, resolution, closure, and post-incident review.
- Design and improve service management processes in line with ITIL v3/v4 best practice, with a focus on responsiveness and business alignment.
- Implement and maintain effective major incident procedures, including war-room coordination, bridging, and stakeholder communications.
- Develop clear, timely incident updates and executive reports for business and senior management.
- Build and enhance monitoring and observability across applications, integrations, batch jobs, and downstream outputs.
- Support trend analysis, dashboards, and automation to reduce recurring issues and improve operational transparency.
Your experience/knowledge:
- Strong background in incident management within a complex technology environment, ideally in banking or financial services.
- Good understanding of ITIL-based processes, major incident handling, and service-level management.
- Experience with application monitoring, observability, or APM tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics, or Splunk.
- Ability to analyse integrations, batch processing, file exchanges, and downstream output controls.
- Language skills: fluent English
