Project Manager vacancy for our Zurich based client in the Insurance & Re-insurance sector.
Your tasks:
- Lead direct reports and coordinate their projects, including preparation for steering committee meetings and other management updates.
- Manage stakeholder engagement across business, technology, safety and security, and travel functions at a strategic level.
- Oversee the project portfolio pipeline and resource planning, including quarterly discussions with CFIT.
- Review incoming project requests, challenge proposals where needed, and support the development of robust business cases.
- Run your own projects where required, such as benefit realisation assessments and related management recommendations.
- Support wider project management activities and contribute to service management leadership discussions and departmental initiatives.
Your experience/knowledge:
- Several years of project management experience, ideally 5–7 years in a similar environment.
- Proven leadership experience, including managing teams and communicating effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and a solid service delivery mindset.
- Experience in preparing structured, management-level presentations and synthesised recommendations.
- Professional certification such as PMI, PRINCE2 or IPMA is highly desirable.
- Language skills: English – fluent, German would be considered an advantage.
