Data Engineer – Kafka Data Products vacancy for our Switzerland based client in the Telco sector.

Your tasks:

• Analyse and map existing data structures to the company data model
• Design Kafka data products, including definition of event models, data contracts and topic structures
• Establish best practices for Kafka-based data product development
• Develop, implement and integrate data products using Kafka
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful data architecture and implementation

Your experience/knowledge:

• Expert-level experience with Kafka Streams, ksqlDB or Flink
• Strong proficiency in using Kafka, Kubernetes, and Elasticsearch
• Ability to automate data operations lifecycle (develop, deploy, validate, observe)
• Deep knowledge in search (Elasticsearch)
• Higher education degree or equivalent experience
• Language skills: English

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work efficiently in collaborative and agile environments
