Business Data Architect vacancy for our Switzerland based client in the Insurance & Re-insurance sector.

Your tasks:

• Shape and own business-driven data models that enable consistent finance reporting, planning, and analytics across the organization 
• Act as the key bridge between Finance and technology teams, translating business needs into scalable data structures and solutions 
• Design and oversee end-to-end data flows from source systems into the global finance data hub 
• Establish and drive clear data definitions, standards, and governance principles to ensure trusted and reusable data 
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to embed harmonized data structures and support the transformation journey

     
Your experience/knowledge:

• 10+ years proven experience in data architecture, data modelling, or similar roles within complex transformation environments 
• Strong understanding of finance processes and the underlying data dimensions, including how local and group structures differ and interact
• Ability to translate business requirements into structured data concepts and models 
• Experience working with modern data platforms or cloud-based data environments (e.g., lakehouse architecture, snowflake, data bricks) 
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and align both business and technical stakeholders
• Strong AI mind set, ability to design process with an “AI first” mindset 
• IT literacy i.e. Excel, PowerPoint etc…
• CDMP or equivalent data management certification is desirable
• Language skills: English
