SQL & Data Modelling Engineer vacancy for our Luxembourg based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Develop and optimise complex SQL transformations for analytics, reporting, and regulatory needs.
• Work with and contribute to enterprise data models, including Data Vault, dimensional, 3NF, and domain-driven structures.
• Build and maintain SQL-centric ETL/ELT data pipelines, utilising Python where beneficial for automation and integration.
• Support business intelligence enablement, structuring SQL datasets to optimise for BI tools such as Tableau.
• Collaborate with finance, risk, compliance, and business teams to translate requirements into high-quality data solutions.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Expert-level proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, tuning, and optimisation.
• Experience with established data models such as Data Vault, dimensional, SCD, and 3NF.
• Strong background in developing scalable SQL transformations and automating data workflows using Python.
• Experience with BI tools, preferably Tableau or Power BI.
• Language skills: fluent English
