Avaloq System Architect – Wealth Management vacancy for our Luxembourg based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Define target architecture for banking applications and ensure compliance with architecture standards
• Collaborate with product management and key stakeholders to shape business vision and architectural blueprints
• Develop high-level solution intent, identify enabler epics, and ensure visibility of architectural dependencies
• Plan and develop the architectural runway to support new business features and the technical vision
• Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, application lifecycle management, and reduction of technical debt
• Work with other architects, shared services, and suppliers to define and align architectural approaches and roadmaps
• This position requires regular presence in Germany, approximately 30%-40% of the total working time

Your experience/knowledge:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, with proven working experience as an architect in IT and/or finance
• Strong experience with Avaloq banking software; knowledge of Temenos Transact or Triple’A is advantageous
• Solid understanding of wealth management business, banking products, and European private banking with at least 5 years’ relevant experience
• Knowledge of the regulatory framework and standard financial services processing
• Language skills: Fluent English and German
