Scientist – Analytical Chemistry vacancy for our Basel based client in the Pharma sector.

Your tasks:

• Plan, organise, interpret, and report scientific experiments to support the timely supply of drug substances and drug products for clinical use and future registration.
• Write and review analytical documentation, including methods, specifications, validation reports, stability reports, and batch records.
• Coordinate analytical activities within cross-functional CMC project teams and manage interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide scientific and technical guidance for outsourced activities and CRO-related work where required.
• Support or lead OOx, deviation, and investigation activities, proposing effective solutions to GMP and technical challenges.
• Perform and document laboratory experiments in appropriate systems when required, while maintaining good documentation and laboratory practices.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Development, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a GMP environment.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory and analytical tools such as HPLC, dissolution testing, Chromeleon, quality management systems, and statistical evaluation tools.
• Excellent scientific writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly in a regulated environment.
• Fluent English, written and spoken; German is an advantage.
