Frontend Developer – React, JavaScript, TypeScript vacancy for our Zurich based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Take ownership of complex frontend solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and long-term maintainability
• Partner with UX/UI designers and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into intuitive, high-quality user experiences
• Develop production-grade React and TypeScript code for complex financial applications
• Address advanced frontend challenges, including state management, performance optimisation, and integration with distributed backend systems
• Refactor and modernise existing codebases where required
• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis in both development and production environments

Your experience/knowledge:

• Extensive hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, with a strong focus on React at enterprise scale
• Strong knowledge of modern frontend ecosystems, tools and frameworks, including React, Node.js and build tooling
• Proven experience working with design systems and large shared component libraries
• Solid understanding of Unix/Linux environments and bash scripting, with familiarity in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, containerisation, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and API security standards such as OAuth2
• Language skills: English
