IT Project Lead – Web Application Security, WAF, Kubernetes vacancy for our Zurich based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Lead the evaluation and implementation of a cloud-based Web Application and API Protection (WAAP) solution to replace the current on-premises WAF setup.
• Coordinate and manage the proof of concept for migrating the existing WAF platform to a Kubernetes-based deployment model.
• Oversee project planning, execution, delivery, risk, issue, budget, and timeline management across both initiatives.
• Work closely with technical, business, and vendor stakeholders to align requirements and drive decisions.
• Prepare management reports, decision papers, and steering committee materials to support strategic direction.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Proven experience leading complex IT infrastructure, cloud, cyber security, or similar enterprise projects.
• Strong project management skills with experience in PoCs, technology assessments, and implementation projects.
• Good understanding of web application security, including WAF, API security, and cloud security solutions.
• Familiarity with container platforms and Kubernetes-based architectures.
• Language skills: English, German
