Test Automation Engineer vacancy for our Basel based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Review existing test cases for the Findur trade management system and associated systems to identify opportunities for automation.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing across the end-to-end trade lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage for trade capture, settlement, risk management, and reporting processes.
• Develop and maintain scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks aligned with industry best practices.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster feedback.
• Monitor test results, log and track defects, and contribute to the overall testing strategy and quality improvements.

Your experience/knowledge:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation for complex systems.
• Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Hands-on scripting experience with Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured, plus familiarity with Git, JIRA, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, including back-office processing, settlement, risk management, and reporting.
• Language skills: English
