Senior System Architect – Finance & Credit vacancy for our Zurich based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Design and own solution architectures for applications in delivery, ensuring alignment with target architecture standards.
• Identify architecture gaps, manage technical debt, and support transition towards the target architecture.
• Initiate architecture decisions, document them as Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and obtain the required approvals.
• Advise and coach software engineers on the implementation of solution architectures and technical feasibility.
• Support later stages of the software lifecycle, including testing, release, and operations.
• Collaborate with business, technology, and architecture stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

Your experience/knowledge:

• 3+ years of experience as a senior architect, or 5+ years as a lead or senior software engineer.
• Proven experience in solution design, implementation, and operational support across the full software lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of SAP solutions, particularly S/4HANA, BW/HANA, and BTP.
• Good understanding of Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, IFRS, and Swiss GAAP within financial services.
• Language skills: English, German
