Requirements Engineer – Temenos T24 vacancy for our Luxembourg based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Translate business, compliance, and regulatory requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for implementation.
• Document reporting logic, data transformations, and precise field-level requirements, ensuring clarity and testability.
• Lead data mapping activities between source systems and regulatory schemas (XML, JSON, CSV, proprietary formats).
• Prototype report outputs using SQL and Python to validate data gaps and reporting logic.
• Collaborate with compliance, regulatory, and technical teams to design, implement, and validate reporting solutions.
• Support quality assurance and delivery by providing functional guidance and conducting defect analysis.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Solid understanding of major financial regulations including EMIR/EMIR Refit, MiFID II/MiFIR, AMLD5, and country-specific bank reporting.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or backend engineering with a strong data focus, ideally in regulated environments (finance, insurance, healthcare).
• Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python for data validation, prototyping, and logic testing.
• Experience interpreting and producing structured formats such as XML and JSON.
• Ability to create clear, structured functional specifications and drive decisions with stakeholders.
• Experience with Temenos T24/Transact, Temenos Triple'A, or similar core banking platforms is considered a strong advantage.
• Language skills: English (fluent)
