Research Chemist vacancy for our Stein based client in the Chemical and Pharma Manufacturing sector.

Your tasks:

• Drive research activities from discovery to development by delivering target molecules efficiently, safely and sustainably
• Independently and collaboratively design and execute synthetic routes for target molecules using your knowledge, experience and digital tools
• Conduct detailed risk assessments of experimental procedures and raw materials, adhering to HSE standards
• Document and communicate experimental results with accuracy to enable reproducibility and protect intellectual property
• Troubleshoot and solve synthetic chemistry problems both independently and collaboratively within projects

Your experience/knowledge:

• Master's degree in synthetic chemistry or minimum 3–5 years of industrial experience after apprenticeship in synthetic chemistry
• Proficient in all aspects of synthetic organic chemistry, including reaction design, retrosynthesis, purification, and structural elucidation, upholding high HSE standards
• Knowledge of and ability to use software tools for synthesis design and data analysis
• Language skills: fluency in English
