Application Specialist vacancy for our Switzerland based client in the Insurance & Re-insurance sector.

Your tasks:

• Ensure smooth operations and support changes in business-critical IT applications
• Guarantee operational stability within the team, including 2nd level support, access management, batch monitoring, incident handling, and end-to-end monitoring
• Identify and implement continuous improvements
• Work closely with various business units and external vendors
• Create concepts and documentation for technical processes

Your experience/knowledge:

• Degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar IT support or application specialist role
• Experience with Windows Server operating systems and web server administration, preferably IIS
• Understanding of network and security concepts; knowledge of cloud infrastructure, ideally Azure
• Familiarity with service management practices such as ITIL
• Language skills: Fluent English and German

• Comfortable working in a structured, process-oriented environment
• Effective collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders
