Plant Engineer – Facilities & Utilities, French, vacancy for our Neuchatel based client in the Pharma sector.
Your tasks:
- Act as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert (SME) for users of assigned installations regarding technical aspects, especially Facilities & Utilities
- Provide expertise related to Building, HVAC systems, Black Utilities (Chillers/Boilers), Clean Utilities, and Chemical storage and distribution
- Lead and/or support the design, installation, commissioning, and qualification of improvements, changes, or upgrades to equipment and systems
- Proactively monitor the technical condition of equipment, systems, and installations; propose and coordinate corrective actions, improvements, and modifications as necessary
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry and organizational standards such as cGMP, GEP, SUVA/ASIT, and implement site/divisional/corporate procedures
- Participate as a system expert in internal and external audits
Your experience/knowledge:
- Engineering degree (BSc, MSc or equivalent) in biotechnology, chemistry, food processing, or mechanical engineering
- At least 5 years’ experience in the Pharma/Biotech industry with a focus on Process and Plant Engineering
- Proven experience with installation, commissioning, validation, and maintenance of pharmaceutical Facilities & Utilities
- Practical knowledge of Good Engineering Practices, cGxPs, FDA/ISPE/ATSM2500 & ASME/BPE standards
- Language skills: English and French, German is a plus
