Data Engineer vacancy for our Luxembourg based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Design, build, and optimise scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines in Python using pandas, Polars, or similar frameworks
• Orchestrate data pipelines using Dagster, Airflow, or similar tools for batch, incremental, and streaming data processing
• Integrate with internal and external APIs, ensuring robust authentication, error handling, and high data quality
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab for data workflows and infrastructure components
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, software engineers, and platform teams to deliver reliable data solutions

Your experience/knowledge:

• Expert-level skills in Python (with pandas/Polars, typing, packaging, testing, performance optimisation)
• Proven experience with data orchestration tools such as Dagster (preferred) or Airflow
• Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL patterns, and performance considerations; hands-on SQL and relational database experience
• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD; cloud skills (Azure databrigs/ADF/ADLS, or AWS/GCP) valued
• Language skills: English fluent
