Research Chemist – Research Scientist vacancy for our Stein based client in the Manufacturing sector.

Your tasks:

• Independently execute safe, sustainable, and effective synthetic routes to deliver target molecules, making use of available support platforms
• Design efficient synthetic pathways and collaborate to achieve project goals, including route selection and execution
• Carry out detailed risk assessments for experimental procedures and raw materials according to internal HSE standards
• Document and communicate experimental procedures and data with scientific accuracy to support easy reproduction and secure IP
• Independently and collaboratively solve synthetic chemistry challenges within the scope of the project

Your experience/knowledge:

• Master’s degree in organic or synthetic chemistry, or 3–5 years relevant industrial/laboratory experience following full apprenticeship training
• Proficient in all aspects of synthetic organic chemistry, including reaction design, retrosynthesis, troubleshooting, purification, and structural elucidation
• Familiar with design and analysis software tools for synthesis programmes
• Experience adhering to high standards of health, safety, and environmental practices in the laboratory
• Language skills: English
