Molecular Biologist – Research Scientist vacancy for our Stein based client in the Manufacturing sector.

Your tasks:

• Actively participate in developing and using molecular capabilities to track molecular markers and support product quality control
• Carry out or develop various bioassays and molecular/microbiology-based assays on plants and microbial products
• Collect, process, and support the logistics of samples dedicated to molecular analyses performed by external laboratories
• Document scientific experiments and present results in oral and written formats in English
• Plan, execute, and support scientific experiments, data analysis, presentation, and reporting

Your experience/knowledge:

• Minimum Master’s degree in molecular biology; additional background in plant biology or microbiology is desirable
• Minimum of 6 months wet-lab experience or internship in a molecular biology laboratory
• Previous experience working with plants and microbial-based assays
• Awareness of laboratory safety, chemical hazard considerations, and adherence to HSE guidelines
• Language skills: English
