Application Engineer vacancy for our Luxembourg based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Partner with architects, product owners, and business subject matter experts to shape business problems into actionable system requirements
• Perform end-to-end impact analysis across business processes, applications, data flows, and integrations
• Define system-level designs, integration patterns (API, messaging, events), and data models
• Guide implementation, configuration, and migration of applications across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments
• Drive operational efficiency and ensure best practices in automation, monitoring, and compliance

Your experience/knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in application/solution engineering or software delivery roles, ideally in financial services or regulated environments
• Proficiency in system and application design, service decomposition, data modelling, and enterprise integration
• Experience with non-functional requirements including performance, security, and operational readiness; demonstrable knowledge of CI/CD processes
• Experience with Temenos T24, Triple’A or similar core banking platforms, as well as CRM systems in the banking domain, is an advantage
• Language skills: Fluent English required; German or French is a plus
