Senior Cloud Security Engineer vacancy for our Switzerland based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Extend the current Security Baseline Compliance (SBC) governance from on-premise to cover hybrid (on-premise and Azure cloud) technology stacks.
• Guide IT Service Owners through the adoption of Azure SBC controls to ensure alignment with established governance and lifecycle processes.
• Embed Azure-specific coverage into the existing SBC lifecycle using the differential principle, defining only what is materially different in Azure.
• Coordinate and advise on the integration of Azure SBC controls, ensuring smooth cooperation with technical experts and seamless workflow integration in ServiceNow.
• Support consistent exception governance and maintain a high-quality evidence trail for audits and regulatory requirements.

Your experience/knowledge:

• 7+ years’ experience in security (baseline) governance, ideally covering hybrid (on-premise and cloud) environments.
• Strong knowledge of CIS Benchmarks and comparable industry standards.
• Proven experience deploying security baseline compliance mechanisms for both on-premise and Azure environments.
• Relevant certifications: CISM, CISSP, or CCSP and AZ-500, SC-100, or equivalent.
• Language skills: English (fluent), German (basic).

• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills in an enterprise context.
• Proven ability to guide IT Service Owners, architects, and engineering teams on security adoption.
• Strong advisory and coordination skills with a focus on governance, not hands-on technical engineering/architecture.
