Windows Workplace Engineer – Ms 365, Azure, Endpoint – this is a long term (2+ years) contract for our Basel based client in the Financial Services sector.
Your tasks:
- Implementing, maintaining, and enhancing the platform for managing the endpoint environment.
- Defining, configuring, and managing the client desktop experience to optimise the user environment.
- Providing third-level support for Windows clients, including performance monitoring and resolution of client performance issues.
- Delivering third-level support for the organisation's core applications, ensuring performance monitoring and timely resolution of issues.
- Managing and maintaining the organisation's mobile device platform.
Your experience/knowledge:
- Experience as a Senior Systems Engineer (3rd level/3rd line) – Desktop / Endpoint
- Deep understanding of the Windows operating system and related technology stack, including Intune, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure.
- Expertise in policies and management options for Windows and iOS devices using Microsoft Intune.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Autopilot, Desktop Analytics, Conditional Access, Mobile Application Management, and Intune Application Lifecycle.
- Strong background in Desktop Support with a proven track record of delivering large-scale, Microsoft-focused solutions.
- Language skills: Fluent in English (oral and written).
