Compliance Expert ( Custom and Trade)

Compliance Expert – Custom and Trade vacancy for our Zurich based client in the energy sector.

Your tasks:

• Providing operational support to the CTCO to enhance services for Local Divisions
• Advising on customs procedures, preferential calculations, HS codes, VAT, and dual-use classifications
• Developing and enhancing internal directives and standard procedures in alignment with company regulations
• Conducting training on Trade Compliance for LD’s, covering customs, international trade, rules of origin, and customs tariffing
• Contributing to customs audits, internal risk reviews, and improvements in SAP GTS
• Driving company's efficiency and cost reduction initiatives in the Trade Compliance domain

     
Your experience/knowledge:

• 6+ years of experience in export and import
• Strong knowledge of customs classification, origin, customs procedures, export controls, SAP/SAP GTS
• Excellent understanding of EU and EFTA / FHA trade agreements
• Proven experience in project management
• Apprenticeship (KV) with further training as an export specialist or customs specialist
• Language skills: English and German – fluent in written and spoken

• Flexible and self-motivated personality
