Application Support Engineer – Securities Finance (FIS SFTC/APEX/Finace) vacancy for our Zurich based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Act as an application expert for the Securities Lending and Borrowing (SLB) solution (FIS SFTC)
• Provide end-to-end 1st & 2nd level support to front office traders
• Assure system availability, handle run-the-bank issues, and manage releases for seamless operations
• Support business colleagues with investigations and daily queries
• Identify areas for improvement and propose recommendations to enhance system and processes
• Participate in agile routines, ceremonies, and Program Increment (PI) Planning

Your experience/knowledge:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience as an IT Engineer, Support Engineer, or IT Administrator in a financial environment
• In-depth knowledge of Securities Lending and Borrowing solutions (FIS SFTC/APEX Collateral Management/Finace)
• Basic development skills in databases and SQL, Unix, scripting, and Java are an advantage
• Previous exposure to DevOps/CI/CD and troubleshooting general IT issues is a plus
• Language skills: English fluent
