Business Analyst – Insurance, IFRS 17, SQL, Data Analysis – this is a 12+ months contract opportuntiy for our Switzerland based client in the Insurance & Re-insurance sector.

Your tasks:

• Drive business analysis for Finance IT towards implementation of Finance Target Architecture (Azure Databricks), enabling end-to-end Finance data flows and integration of technical accounting systems
• Work closely with business counterparts and stakeholders to capture business needs and translate them into implementable work items in Azure DevOps
• Collaborate with software development teams within the Finance Data Foundation Product Area to drive implementation, focusing on Finance source system data
• Analyse, manage, and document business/finance data, providing gap analysis to meet all finance system data requirements
• Model data, specify source system data derivation rules, provide test data, coordinate user acceptance tests, support Go Live and business-as-usual establishment

Your experience/knowledge:

• Experienced as a Business Analyst on complex projects, ideally in the financial or insurance industry
• High proficiency in English
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills
• Finance and accounting knowledge; ability to read and analyse complex logical and physical data models; Python skills are a plus
• Language skills: English
