ServiceNow Developer – ITSM vacancy for our Basel based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Implement complex functionalities to meet business requirements as well as understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Integrate ServiceNow platform with other systems along with participate in the design discussions and architectural decisions
• Maintain and support the existing processes and manage the development life cycle and deployments between ServiceNow instances
• Participate in ServiceNow major upgrades
• Produce technical documentation

Your experience/knowledge:
 

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as IT developer – Strong development skills to implement integrations between ServiceNow and other internal systems using tools, technologies, and protocols such as MID Server, REST, ODBC, LDAP, SOAP, etc.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with ServiceNow – excellent technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including experience with at least three ServiceNow modules, especially ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HRSD, SecOps, CSM and SAM
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow back-end capabilities, including web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• In depth knowledge of Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI policies, Validation Scripts and Background Scripts in ServiceNow
• Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle including business requirements analysis, design, testing and deployment
• Language skills: English
