Logistics Support Operator – HSE vacancy for our Stein based client in the chemical and agricultural sector. 

Your tasks:

  • The dispensing of research chemical and biological samples for testing on biological and biochemical platforms.
  • Communication with internal partners over the scheduling and technical specifications of sample provision for their assays.
  • To track requests and query data in databases, competently using the IT tools available.
  • To be a trusted point of contact for internal scientists, answering queries, and addressing issues
  • To ensure compliance with HSE standards, protocols and relevant regulations and proactivity in the reporting of incidents, near misses and safety related observations.

Your experience/knowledge:

  • Highly effective written and verbal communication

  • Able to make practical decisions and use initiative where required
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize large, diverse, and complex workloads
  • Attention to detail and a demonstrated concern for high standards
