Python developer – IFRS17 vacancy for our Switzerland based in the Insurance & Re-insurance sector.

Your tasks:

• Development of Python components within the financial and reserving system upgrade.
• Contribute to continued development of system documentation and to the testing of components.
• Integration of components with databases and internal and external web services.

Contribute to the improvement of best practices and code quality.
     

Your experience/knowledge:
 

• Actuarial knowledge ideally from non-life reserving and/or IFRS17 implementations
• Strong hand-on on experience developing in Python and knowledge of core numerical libraries like Pandas, Polars, Numpy.
• Good SQL-/database knowledge and experience with commonly used Python components for integration with databases especially Sqlalchemy, Alembic, Pydantic.
• Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops, gIt, and web services is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
• Language skills: English
